The Pilot Hill Project committee, in conjunction with the Haub School & Ruckelshaus Institute, solicited public input in 2018 to gauge support for the purchase, assess management preferences, and understand current recreation patterns and values associated with the property. Survey results are available here.
In a 2017 survey, 92% of respondents to an Albany County survey approved of the Pilot Hill land purchase.
